Walking to X’s room to wake him up in the morning, I heard his alarm already going off…

Me: Are you just ignoring your alarm?

X:  Not really “ignoring”…

Me:  You’re just being patient with it?  Patient and long-suffering?

X:  Mm-hm.

Me:  I love it when you develop Christ-like attributes.

P.S.  He thinks I turned I the alarm off, but I really only hit the snooze button.
